I am getting ready to book our vacation for next year, and was surfing around to see where we could get the best value. I really want to do a cruise, but this may be the year to go abroad instead. It looks like we'd have to pay regular prices to get there, but once we were there, we could use Monarch Airlines to fly between countries and cities. They offer some wonderfully cheap flights.
Flying seems to be the most expensive part of travel anymore, and I don't even enjoy it. Just give me some cheap airfare, fly with the winds, and get me there in one piece. I'll still be miserable the whole flight. I used to love it, but I have been a nervous flier for quite a while now. It is really unpleasant.
We flew last year to go to Florida for a week. Maybe that was enough and we should take a break for another year or so. Thank goodness cruise lines are now traveling out of New York City and Philadelphia . . . I think might just book us a cruise to Nova Scotia in the late summer. I'm sure it will be beautiful, and we won't have to worry about flights -- cheap ones or otherwise!
