The older women in my family seem to be blessed with beautiful skin. My grandmother was 92 when she passed away, and she always looked much younger than her years. My mother is 60 and often gets mistaken for my sister (yeah, I'm not sure how to feel about that particular compliment)! I should get to rest on my laurels and feel confident that I, too, will have great skin when I get older.
Unfortunately, my skin is prone to breaking out, and I am trying to take better care of it lately. I don't have acne, but some of the products I use are designed as acne treatment, and they work very well to even out my sometimes oily, sometimes dry skin. I don't know how well they would work on a severe case, but they are definitely good for my situation.
I am also a big fan of healthy skin care products. I use a lot of Burt's Bees for makeup and also as a moisturizer, and I like that it doesn't feel heavy on my face. I went for many years without wearing any makeup at all, and it is taking some getting used to for me to wear it now. That's why I try hard to find products that feel clean and natural - otherwise, I want to clean them off as soon as they go on.
I hesitate to recommend anything much, but I'm open to suggestions if any of my readers have them. What sort of skin care regiment do you have?
