Mike and I were going through all the debt we have today . . . credit card bills, medical bills from the birth of our son (and we have insurance!!!), phone bills, cable bills, it's never ending. We realized that we finally got out from the debt caused by my less-than-successful business misadventure in 2003. One of the biggest problems we had was with our credit card processing service. I owed them so much money after all was said and done; I guess I didn't read the contract as well as I should have!
Since then, I've had this credit card company referred to me by a few friends. I haven't had any reason to do business with them myself, but I wish a few of the crafty WAHMs I buy from would take the hint and sign up for a merchant account. Most of them accept Paypal, which isn't as professional as accepting a credit card straight away, and since I only have my bank card stored in Paypal, it's a nuisance when I don't have the money in my account to pay for what I want to buy.
Come on diaper-making-mamas, check out this site and get signed up.

The only reason we use Verizon Wireless is because the majority of our friends and family have Verizon cell phones. We're able to call them all without wasting our minutes, and so even though we don't love the service ourselves, we save a lot of money.
Just recently, we've become obsessed with text messaging. Mike and I send each other naughty text messages during the day, we exchange funny forwards with our friends, and we make plans and arrange all kinds of things without having to make any calls. I absolutely hate using the phone, so text messaging is my favorite thing. At least with Verizon, we can send all our in-network text messages for only $10 a month. It's more than we'd want to spend, but it's worth it.
One thing that I've noticed recently is that Verizon is offering the same cool phones that other cell phone companies have. For awhile, it seemed like they only had the clunkiest, most boring phones to offer. Of course, when I bought my Razr, they didn't have too many color choices, but now they do. They also have a lot of other interesting phones with features that seem pretty useful or at least fun!
Enough about cell phones; time to call Mike and tell him to come in for the night!
