I've had a long-standing love affair with kitchen gadgets. It started when I was in college in New York City. Once a week, I'd take the subway uptown to Crate and Barrel and spend time browsing what I called "the gadget wall." Usually, I'd find something that I just had to have, and I would take it home, excited about cooking once again.
Now that I'm out of the city and Crate and Barrel-less, I've started browsing for cooking gadgets online. My favorite place to shop is EKitchenGadgets.com, since they have a huge selection and even feature Le Creuset products. I worked at a Le Creuset outlet store for a short time a few years ago, and fell in love with their beautiful colors and terrific cookware.
Right now, I'm looking into buying a food processor. Since I make my own baby food, it seems like it would be a worthwhile investment, and I'm sure I'd find a lot of uses for it even after I'm done cooking for my infant.
I would also really like to try this stain-removing gadget. I have a terrible time getting stains out of my family's clothes, and it sounds like this could be the solution to my problems. It's only $9.99 so it can't hurt to try it out!!
Tell me, dear readers, what are your favorite kitchen gadgets?
